When we were young life was (still) simple. All the government had to do to enliven its people was to make this campaign, make this sticker, make reminder banners to hang everywhere in Singapore.
Those days are now decades old stickers that we must google to find out how to remove. Not part of our work or part of our lives. What happened?

Many of us have not had an heirloom passed to us. Not even close. I like sharing lovely things with you. I like believing someday, you will have your own heirloom to pass on.
I want to keep believing we work towards getting to this place in life where we can manufacture our own heirlooms, not from anyone telling us what is or is not worth passing on, but from the sentiments we hold precious to our hearts because of the journey we take to own what we can. Manufacturing our own heirlooms.
