Keys To Cardinals
Philomel accessory
The fifth and last in our Antique Series, and part of Philomel’s Virgin Collection, the Keys To Cardinals are four antique, medium-sized flat keys to accent the points around the neck/nape. Each key is a unique shape: two keys (‘East’ and ‘West’) with ‘big hole’ heads, and two keys (‘North’ and ‘South’) with ‘small hole’ heads; the ‘North’ key is a split end key.
The chain is a two-necklace combination: one copper-colored and one rust-colored necklace. The two necklaces are connected at four points to form one main chain. The ‘East’ and ‘West’ keys will fall at your shoulder blades; the ‘South’ key at or just below your clavicle; and the ‘North’ key at your nape.
These keys are likely to be from the early 20th century.
